About Aparna

Aparna had a curiosity as a child playing with her grandmother’s jewellery. Over the years, this play turned into her passion. She became frustrated with the limited styles and colours of jewellery available to her and set out to create her own unique collections.
While studying for her degree in business she kept her desire to turn her visions into reality. She supplemented her education with numerous courses in fashion, design and technique.

She started a home based business under the name Aparna S Designs since 1990, as her work became more visible the demand for her to create new and exceptional collections has become her full time profession. Inspired Jewellery By Design was formally launched on April 14th, 2008 in Memory of her late Brother Roy.

Aparna’s greatest joy, aside from her charity work for various organizations, comes from working to create new and unique jewellery that perfectly embodies her client's vision. Her greatest reward is the smile on her client's face when they see the finished product.
